Van Tuong Vocational School was established on May 25,2009 under the Decision No. 2580 / QD-UBND by Chairman of the People’s Committee of Ho Chi Minh City that was originally changed from Van Tuong Private Economics and Technical School under the Decision No. 6577/ QD-UB on 10/10/2001 by Chairman of the People’s Committee of Ho Chi Minh City.

January, 2017 marked a milestone in the process of formation and development of the school. That is Van Tuong Intermediate School officially became a member of the HEDU Education System, belonging to Hung Hau Development Joint Stock Company – HungHau Holdings. HEDU’s education system consists of 5 member schools, including Van Hien University, Van Xuan Economics and Technical College, Van Tuong Intermediate School, Van Hanh Medicine and Pharmacy Intermediate School, Au Lac Intermediate School in Hue and Au Lac Kindergarten. With the educational philosophy of “success never exceeds personal development,” HEDU Education System in general and Van Tuong Intermediate School in particular have always paid special attention to the comprehensive development of students.

On July 11, 1977, Van Tuong completed registration of professional education activities under the certificate No. 25 / GCNĐKHĐ-SLDTBXH of the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs of Ho Chi Minh City.

From the school year 2017-2018, the school officially applied the training program under the credit system in training activities, which is considered as flexible, modern training and suitable with the development trend.

With more than 17 years of establishment and development, Van Tuong Intermediate School is proud to be the first non-public secondary school in Ho Chi Minh City in the field of vocational training, contributing to the industrialization, modernization of the country. With endless efforts, contributions from the strength and enthusiasm of generations, Van Tuong Intermediate School has received many awards and emulation flags of the City People’s Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, Trade Union of Education, Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City. With those achievements, Van Tuong School are proud of providing the society with human resources that not only the moral standard but also the skill of living, ready to meet the needs of society with the motto “success never exceeds personal development”, contributing to the development of Ho Chi Minh City in particular and the whole country.
