I. Introduction and description of the program

The Professional Secretarial Program is designed to train professional level office secretaries with ethics and professional conscience, cooperate with colleagues, respect the law and regulations at the workplace, in order to create conditions for employees to be able to find a job and to be able to study and meet the requirements of socio-economic development.

The main contents of the course include basic knowledge and skills in the secretarial profession such as program management; organizing conferences, organizing business trips for leaders; organizing scientific work rooms; communication skills and some basic skills such as: writing text; office management, collection and provision of information. Learners are also equipped with basic knowledge of informatics, foreign languages, physical education, politics, law, national defense and security.

Upon graduation, learners are able to work as clerks, assistants to heads of agencies or organizations or hold other positions such as heads, heads of administrative offices or related office work in agencies, organizations and enterprises.

II. Training objectives

After graduating from the office secretarial program, students gain:

1. Knowledge:

Having adequate basic knowledge of the office secretarial profession, such as administrative law, civil law, legal documents and documents on administrative transactions, management psychology, Vietnamese culture, corporate governance, office administration, general accounting,…

2. Skills:

Having basic skills to perform office administrative tasks, such as: workplace communication, data management, daily work planning, weekly and monthly work for agencies and enterprises; Prepare meetings, conferences, workshops, set up and manage job profiles, draft transaction documents, manage, archive and use management software, drafting documents. . .

Knowing how to collect, synthesize, analyze information for professional purposes, or assist the leader of the agency.

Achieving the level of computer literate A level, use computer proficiency for Internet transactions , use industry software to manage data and archive information.

Ability to communicate in basic English (equivalent to Certificate A) in listening, speaking, reading and writing; Ability to read and understand contracts, administrative documents, ordinary transactions in English.

3. Attitudes and behaviors:

Having a high sense of responsibility for work, a passion for work, enthusiasm for work, good professional ethics.

After graduation, students can take office management, archives in all types of agencies and businesses.

Understanding of social sciences, humanities, able to learn to raise awareness, thinking management and administrative office.

Having enough qualifications and capacity to continue their studies at university level, college level and higher levels in the national education system in all forms of training; They have the necessary knowledge of foreign languages, can take part in study and improve their skills according to international programs or professional training and fostering courses organized by foreign organizations.
